After installing, paste your Anthropic API key in the welcome screen and you're done. Builds are unsigned for v0.1 — on macOS you'll need to right-click → Open the first time, on Windows click "More info → Run anyway".

Is my screen being sent to your servers? +

No. OCR runs entirely on your device using Tesseract.js. The extracted text is sent to Claude (Anthropic) using your own API key — never through us.

Why BYOK instead of a flat subscription? +

You get unlimited usage and we don't have to mark up API costs. Anthropic bills you directly. A heavy user pays less; a light user pays close to nothing.

What does $10/mo Premium actually get me? +

Cloud sync (so your history and custom prompts follow you across devices), multiple profiles (study/work/research), and Markdown/Notion export. You still use your own API key for the AI.

Does it work offline? +

OCR works offline. AI responses require internet (Claude's API). Local session history is searchable offline.

Can I cancel Premium anytime? +

Yes. Cancel and you drop back to Free the next billing cycle. Your local sessions and API key stay with you.

Which languages does OCR support? +

English and Spanish out of the box. More languages via Tesseract language packs — ping support if you need one.
